We were pretty nervous first time buyers. We had spent several years saving our down payment and were very anxious about even spending it after putting so much time into saving. We had a rough idea of where we wanted to live, but were kind of green on the whole real estate situation. We thought we knew what we wanted, but it wasn't until Leslie started showing us places that we really began to understand the reality of our needs and what was available in our price range.

Leslie made the whole process a relative joy. Together we viewed about 10 properties in 3-4 neighborhoods. We weighed pros and cons and were very encouraged when Leslie showed us a few places that had just hit the market (literally within hours). We also did our own work on the side using the popular real estate sites, Zillow and Redfin, whenever we saw something that we would like to see Leslie made it a priority to get us into the property quickly.

In the end we had that "wow, this is home" moment when we looked at a place in Reynoldstown. The process from there was fairly straight forward, even though other buyers were in the picture also. We took Leslie's suggestion of making a second offer that truly reflected our desire for the house and also made it serious for us to commit to getting the place. The offer was accepted and the ball started rolling. 

The financial aspect of the process can be very daunting and intimidating but Leslie helped put us at ease and shared a few options with us for mortgage providers, lawyers, inspectors and even contractors. We called all of the people on the lists and decided upon one mortgage provider who became another fantastic asset to us. Both Leslie and our mortgage officer were so kind to us, answering questions and pretty much "holding our hands" along the way and even being present with us at closing. When we finally got our keys we could hardly believe it! The end result is really what matters here and my wife and I sincerely couldn't be happier with our home and everything Leslie has helped bring into our lives.

Advice to anyone: if you have the opportunity to work with Leslie you will be very glad that you did. Not only is she a consummate professional and incredibly passionate ally, she is a very special, rare person who makes getting through any challenge feel like a pleasure.
